Please Leave A Message At the Beep

Thanks for visiting! I can’t come to the blog right now; I’m completely overwhelmed and buried under many things, including this mess,

which is a byproduct of my work on this scrapbook,

which needs to be ready to present to a special guy in less than two weeks.

Please leave a detailed message at the beep, and I’ll get back here as soon as possible!

BEEP!

An Eagle Scout! Since I'm new around here, may I ask, is he yours?

I earned my Eagle Scout way back in 1983, at the tender young age of 15. My father was a professional Scouter, and at one time served as the director of Scouting for the Handicapped in Chicago. Ah, the memories.

My own boys have been involved on and off. The oldest found out about girls and guitars and gave it up, but my youngest crosses over in February.

Tell his congratulations from a fellow Eagle Scout! That's a job well done . . .

Paper in my house mysteriously reproduces at a frightening rate. One day there are no piles and the next there are three or four. Wife asks for explanation- I blame aliens.
No wonder the kids come up with crazy explanations for their own antics.

I hate talking to machines, but I will this time because I am just so excited about tonight's Suburban Wow After Dark! Come early and give yourself plenty of time for bad driving conditions.

  • Jason @ The Devoted Dad December 9, 2009, 4:09 pm

How ironic that the day that I check in on my friends that I would be reading an answering machine. I should have left one of these messages at my site to! This holiday has been very busy! PS- Did I read that SuburbanWoW is tonight after dark? What a great day to check in on all my friends! Will be there!
